Wild Fibers Weaving
A no rules weaving class using a global collection of plant and animal fibers including fleeces of curly wools, mohair, bison, cashmere, plant fibers, paper, raw silk, cocoons, feathers, roving, handspun yarn and so much more. Students only need to bring their creativity. All materials included.
About the instructor: With a background in clothing design and manufacturing Jessi Sader has curated a collection of rare and unique plant and animal fibers from around the world. Jessi is heavily inspired by nature and the relationships of animals and plants to their environments, the people who live with them, and the fiber process. She shares time in central and northern Maine where she gets "Lost In The Woods" at her fiber studio.
